Christina Brown (Parker)

I am beyond shocked! I didn't know Tammy was so seriously ill. She was one of my very earliest childhood friends. Her mother and mine were friends, so we met at about three years old. We spent a lot of time together as young children -- had sleepovers, and her mom would take us to the beach. She taught me to play "Heart and Soul" on her grandmother's piano. She once threw me a surprise birthday party. Tammy was always a loving and compassionate friend. She was kind to my younger sisters also, having no siblings herself. She was so dainty and pretty! In high school we no longer traveled in the same circles, but we reconnected in recent years -- again through our mothers as they grew older, and also as part of a monthly lunch group. My life is richer for having known Tammy as a friend. My condolences to her children and everyone else who loved her.
