Marshall James Thomson of Morrilton, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at the age of 68. He was born on August 18, 1948 in Lockport, New York and was the son of the late James Thomson and the late Anne Nelson Thomson.
Graduating in 1966 from Lockport Senior High School where he was a standout baseball pitcher, Marshall was a U.S. Navy veteran, park ranger at Petit Jean State Park, superintendent of Queen Wilhelmina State Park, Mather Lodge manager and spent his later years as a house painter.
He is survived by his wife, Sue LaCook Thomson, of Morrilton; daughter, Lindsey (Ronny) Ketchum, of Conway; granddaughter, Peyton Ketchum; brother, Morgan Thomson, of San Antonio, Texas; sister, Eugenia Petruccelli, of Conway; and was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, John Petruccelli.
Memorial visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, October 8 at Harris Funeral Home. Private burial will be at a later date.
