Richard W. Few

February 12, 1948 - March 17, 2025

Richard “Rick” W. Few passed away March 17, 2025 in Buffalo General Medical Center.  Born February 12, 1948 in Lockport, he was the son of C. Donald and Loraine (Wendel) Few.  Rick graduated from Lockport Senior High School in 1966 and worked for Harrison Radiator Division of General Motors where he was a Cost Accountant. 

Rick was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Lockport where he sang in the church choir for over 50 years.  He was also active with the Lock City Sound and played the French horn more than five decades with Sanborn Fire Company Band.  Rick enjoyed traveling with numerous trips to Disney World, going on cruises and will be remembered for his sense of humor.

Rick is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda (Stevenson) Few; children Brian (Robin) Few and Cynthia L. Few; grandchildren Simon, John Easton, and Morgan Few; also several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his brothers, Gary (late Patricia) Few and D. William (late Patricia) Few.

Relatives and friends may call Thursday, March 20 from 6-8 p.m. at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.  Funeral service will be celebrated Friday, March 21 at 10 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church, 7145 Fieldcrest Drive, Lockport, NY.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Church would be appreciated by the family.
