Janet L. (Cowper) Chunco passed away peacefully December 23, 2023 in Niagara Hospice House after a long illness. She was born on November 15, 1948 in Lockport, NY, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Hazel (Retzlaff) Cowper.
Janet was predeceased by her husband Andrew Chunco in 2019. She is survived by her children Robb (Kelly) Chunco, Kyle (Kyoko) Chunco, Molly (Paul) Vercillo; her three grandchildren Mila, Ethan, and Max Chunco; her sister Patricia Brace; and her dear friend, Jackie Nemi.
Private Services held at the convenience of the family.

I am so very sorry to hear this. Janet and I became close in Jr High. Like many classmates we drifted apart and I was so happy to see her again at the girls monthly luncheons when I was in NY. Janet had a very matter of fact personality and she would tell you exactly what she thought but she was a good, loyal friend. God Speed Janet
