Randy Hum, age 66, passed away December 10, 2014 with family at his home in Tucson, Arizona. Randy was born and grew up in Lockport, New York, one of three children of John and Isabell Hum. He attended schools in Lockport and after high school, graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in computer science. While in college, he married Nancy Marotta, also a Lockport native. He and Nancy settled in Tucson where they raised two sons, John and Michael. Randy was employed for 36 years as a senior systems analyst and adjunct professor with Pima Community College. He was active with the Boy Scout Troop 141 for many years, holding a number of leadership positions and helping both of his sons attain the rank of Eagle Scout. Randy was also registrar, coach and referee for AYSO soccer and served as assistant baseball coach in the Tanque Verde Little League. He even found time to serve as Chairman of Neighborhood Watch for 10 years. Randy enjoyed boating, the Boy Scouts, cooking and spending time with his family and friends. He had many enjoyable days building his cabin in the White Mountains of Arizona.
