Some of my earliest childhood and school days memories involve Dave and his family who lived on Locust Street only a block or so from where my family lived at the time at 25 South Street. Jimmy Mazzo and Tate Pitrello lived right up the street from Dave in the large apartment building on the southeast corner of Locust and Genesee Streets and we all spent countless hours playing together and exploring the neighborhood and beyond. Aloha 'Oe, Dave, until we meet again!!!

I never knew David St. Onge until we got to LSHS and then we were for three years in the same homeroom (Mr. Vogel's) I got to know Dave through multile pre-homeroom talks over the years. He was a very kind person with a great sense of humor and incite.....and a good listener. His brothe, Darryl was also in my homeroom

We lost track of each other after high school. I never saw him at any of the multiple reunions.

God speed and safe travels, Dave!

Coincidentally, Dave and his family lived almost directly across Locust Street from Herberger's furniture and appliance store on the southwest corner of South and Locust Streets which was owned and operated by Don Herberger, the father of Steve's wife, Donna---Lockport certainly was a "small town" in the very best sense of the term while we were growing up there and, hopefully, the same's true even today some 60-70 years later!!!
