Patrick Allen Foltz

February 23, 1948 - February 21, 2023

Patrick Allen Foltz of York, PA died on February 21, 2023.  He was the son of the late William and Mary Ruth Foltz of Lockport, NY. 

He is survived by his wife Barbara, sons Patrick and William, daughter-in-law Caitlin, grandson Sullivan, Pat's brother Kevin, sister-in-law Sandi, his sister Gretchen Enseleit, nieces Tiffany Shoemaker, Kelly Foltz-Ramos, Marieka Hope, and nephew Tristan Enseleit, and four great-nieces, all from the Lockport area. 

Patrick graduated from Lockport Senior High School in 1966 and had earned master's degrees in English and Folklore and worked as a museum director in New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.  He was a traveler, a storyteller, a listener, and a counselor.  He will be deeply missed.

A memorial mass was held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 219 South Beaver Street, York with visitation from 10-11am and mass at 11am.
